Our partner is a leading independent technology service provider supporting enterprise and public sector clients in the procurement, development, and operation of their IT infrastructure. The Sales Order Management Specialist sought for the Budapest Centre of Excellence team plays a key role in managing customer orders and supporting sales processes.
Tasks
- Efficient and accurate processing of customer orders in compliance with SLAs
- Reviewing orders (product specifications, quantities, prices, individual agreements)
- Liaising with account managers and internal stakeholders in case of discrepancies
- Recording and processing orders in corporate systems
- Checking and reconciling purchase orders with sales orders
- Cooperating with the procurement team for non-standard orders
- Handling erroneous or blocked orders (e.g. credit limit, margin, export control)
- Selecting appropriate shipping and service options
- Managing returns and credit notes
- Resolving customer inquiries related to invoicing and orders
- Keeping internal systems and processes up to date

Requirements
- Confident English and German language skills
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, or Customer Service
- Experience in managing customer orders
- Basic knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Customer-centric mindset
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Precision and a 'right first-time' approach
- Reliability, sense of responsibility, and proactivity
- Ability to work in a team
