Emerson is looking for a Junior Project Proposal Engineer to maintain close collaboration with sales and product teams, develop complete technical and commercial proposals, and prepare accurate documentation.
Tasks
- Maintain close collaboration with Outside Sales Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and manufacturing sites
- Review customer inquiries and develop complete technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and Emerson standards
- Participate in proposal kick-off calls or meetings with sales channels and/or customers
- Prepare accurate and complete documentation for order entry into business systems
- Receive, review, and process change order requests
- Proactively follow up on submitted quotations and support sales teams in closing opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of workflows and proposal activities
- Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities
- Practically and promote a strong "Customer Thinking" mindset

Requirements
- Proficient English and German communication skills, both written and spoken
- A technical or engineering background (such as mechanical, industrial, chemical, or similar fields)
- The ability to organize work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- The ability to understand business drivers and apply this understanding to daily decisions and proposal activities
- Curiosity and analytical thinking to gain insight into customer needs and project requirements
