Our partner, an international industrial manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Buyer to play a key role in developing supplier networks and shaping procurement strategies. We are seeking a proactive, commercially minded professional with a strong technical background who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment.
Tasks
- Develop and continuously improve sourcing strategies for direct materials and mechanical components, including machined parts, sheet metal components, and welded assemblies.
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard new suppliers, with a strong focus on cost-competitive sourcing markets in Eastern Europe.
- Analyze supplier markets, identify cost optimization opportunities, and build long-term strategic supplier relationships.
- Manage strategic sourcing projects from RFQs and negotiations through to contract conclusion.
- Collaborate closely with international procurement, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure cost competitiveness and supply reliability.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in procurement within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing technologies, including the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent negotiation skills, a strong commercial and analytical mindset, and proven experience in supplier scouting and qualification.
- Business-fluent English.
