A leading European energy company, which plays a key role in operating energy infrastructure and promoting the energy transition, is looking for an accounting consultant. Tasks include preparing reports, providing professional support, handling M&A and other transactions, and coordinating IFRS reporting.
Tasks
- Preparation of quarterly and annual reports in accordance with IFRS and Hungarian accounting regulations
- Supporting business units (grid, EIS, sales, power plant), sister departments (tax, controlling, treasury) and SSC on accounting issues
- Handling accounting tasks related to corporate restructuring, M&A transactions
- Accounting consulting regarding the development of new products and innovative business solutions
- Reviewing non-standard offers and contracts from an accounting perspective
- Quality assurance of IFRS reporting package, closing checks, audit support
- Preparation of annual financial statements, audit support

Requirements
- Relevant degree
- Strong intermediate English proficiency
- 5-10 years of experience in financial reporting and auditing
- Comprehensive accounting mindset
- Consultative attitude (strong communication skills, solution-oriented approach)
