Hospital chaplains, in interdisciplinary cooperation with other professionals, accompany people through existential and crisis moments of illness. They support patients and their families in discovering and developing healing perspectives for themselves and their current situation.
Tasks
- Spiritual support for patients, families, and staff
- Organization and leading of spiritual events and services, including for patients with a secular background
- Communion services in the wards
- Collaboration with ward staff and other professionals at the hospital, participation in working groups and institutional projects
- On-call duty (including nights) in cooperation with other hospitals in Linz
