As a Quality Engineer for Product Reliability, you will ensure product quality and reliability from development to volume production by driving qualification activities, reliability testing, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D and quality teams.
Tasks
- Support the product development process starting with the product idea until successful product release for volume production
- Manage quality and reliability-related topics with internal partners, the R&D department
- Define specific qualification plans for the qualification of innovative product generations as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Plan, execute and assess reliability tests
- Ensure the reliability of our products by defining qualification methods for future power semiconductor technologies and products
- Investigate and develop new qualification concepts and test methods
- Actively cooperate with corresponding QM departments from other Infineon locations
- Take part in risk assessments and problem-solving activities as expert and/or moderator
