This is not a role for someone who wants to run operations from behind a desk. It's hands-on work in a real operational environment -- with pallets, wood, machinery and people. Every day you'll be right where things happen: organising the centre, planning loading and unloading, managing material flow, and overseeing the inspection, repair and storage of pallets.
Tasks
- Increase productivity and operational efficiency
- Take responsibility for the financial results of the service centre
- Ensure smooth loading, unloading and overall logistics operations
- Build a stable, high-performing team
- Manage the centre's productivity, quality, costs and revenue
- Recruit new employees and work with staffing agencies
- Use SAP and Power BI
- Order materials and solve everyday technical issues with equipment

Requirements
- Experience managing a similar operation and leading a team (10--20 people)
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a focus on financial results
- Ability to make independent decisions and delegate effectively
- Technical mindset and a drive to continuously improve processes
- English for everyday communication
