We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join a project for an established client operating in the industrial sector. The project focuses on implementing and deploying an internally developed software tool across a large number of production testing systems. You will work with different types of industrial testing equipment, including wet, dry, and motor testing systems.
Tasks
- Deploy and configure a software tool across multiple production testing systems.
- Work with PLC and PC software in industrial automation and testing environments.
- Analyse existing equipment configurations and adapt the implementation to meet individual system requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the deployment process.
- Support the rollout across different types of testing equipment, including wet, dry, and motor testers.
- Collaborate with international teams and relevant technical stakeholders to ensure a smooth and consistent implementation.
- Assist with testing, verification, and technical documentation related to the rollout.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of practical experience in PLC programming within industrial automation or production testing.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and adapting PLC-based systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and SCADA systems.
- Experience working with both PLC and PC software.
- Familiarity with drives and motor-related equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with different equipment configurations.
- Good communication skills and fluency in technical English.
