The Financial Directorate of Veolia Energia Magyarország Zrt. is looking for a colleague for the position of Controlling Team Leader. Join our controlling team if you are happy to perform independent and diverse controlling tasks and would like to learn about the operations of an international corporate group!
Tasks
- Participation in the preparation of short- and medium-term plans (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow planning)
- preparation of analyses and contribution to management decision-support materials
- representing the controlling field in various projects
- performing monthly and annual closing tasks
- analyzing variances between planned and actual results
- preparing regular and ad-hoc reports for the parent company
- close cooperation with financial and economic departments
- professional support for controller colleagues

Requirements
- Higher education (preferably in economics/finance) and at least 5 years of controller experience
- confident application of up-to-date accounting knowledge in daily work
- passion for professional challenges
- ability to oversee larger areas comprehensively and think in systems
- analytical mindset combined with a high degree of precision
- confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel)
- native-level Hungarian language skills in both speech and writing
- Experience gained at a large corporation and/or in the energy sector is an advantage
