Our client is looking for a Financial Controller for their site in Gyöngyös to actively support the company's financial planning, analysis, and controlling processes. Key responsibilities in this position include preparing financial plans and forecasts, conducting plan-actual analyses, monitoring costs and economic processes, and developing reports and KPI systems to support management decision-making.
Tasks
- Participating in the development, formulation, and continuous maintenance of corporate control policies
- Supporting the preparation of annual and long-term financial plans
- Developing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow plans, as well as continuously tracking their realization
- Preparing plan-actual and variance analyses, identifying discrepancies, and formulating proposals for corrective actions
- Preparing analyses, reports, and economic efficiency calculations regarding costs, productivity, and investments
- Continuously tracking and analyzing order backlog and revenue trends
- Maintaining and developing the cost center and general ledger account structure in compliance with Hungarian accounting regulations and IFRS
- Cooperating with the local and group accounting team, as well as cost center managers
- Verifying and improving the correct posting and allocation of costs and economic events to appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers
- Participating in the development and continuous improvement of the corporate performance indicator system
- Developing the reporting system and Management Information System to support executive decision-making
- Preparing regular management reports and delivering them on time
- Preparing periodic statistical reports in cooperation with related departments
- Actively participating in the development of financial and controlling processes
- Formulating development proposals to support more efficient and effective operations
