Our partner is a dynamically growing manufacturing company looking for a Tool Procurement Specialist / Technical Procurement Specialist to join their expanding team. The new colleague will play a key role in procuring the tools required for production, aligning technical and economic aspects, and efficiently supporting procurement processes.
Tasks
- Procuring tooling related to injection molding, pressing, and plastic welding.
- Sourcing appropriate technical solutions and comparing procurement options.
- Requesting and evaluating offers, and preparing comparative cost calculations.
- Continuously monitoring tool costs, procurement deadlines, and related processes.
- Preparing analyses and decision-supporting materials to back procurement proposals.
- Maintaining contact with suppliers and cooperating with production, engineering, and project teams.
- Aligning technical and commercial aspects to find solutions with the best value for money.
- Properly handling confidential technical documentation and customer drawings.

Requirements
- At least 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in technical procurement, tool procurement, tool manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Solid knowledge in plastic injection molding, pressing, and plastic welding.
- Experience in interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong technical mindset, analytical thinking, and cost-conscious approach.
- Ability to prepare cost calculations and comparative analyses.
- Conversational English proficiency.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented work ethic.
