IBM is looking for a self-driven procurement professional, with fluent Italian and English language knowledge to support its prestigious Client from the Pharmaceutical industry as Tactical Buyer.
Tasks
- Manage tactical sourcing projects (i.e. spot buy, project-based purchasing) individually.
- Perform periodic analyses within managed commodity scope to identify savings, define efficiency opportunities and tactical initiatives. Support Category Managers' work and the Category strategy as required.
- Negotiate and contract suppliers.
- Provide multi-category support assigned by the sourcing lead, coming from main stakeholders.
- Execute competitive bid events.
- Analyze changing client/market conditions.
- Interface with Strategic Sourcing Team to implement strategic contracts at a tactical level.
- Support client specific category strategies.
- Re-direct tactical spend through strategic contracts/channels as appropriate.
- Promote process efficiencies through focus on automated channels.
- Track and report supplier performance, resolve supplier issues.
