Szerencsejáték Zrt. is looking for a new Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to work in Budapest. Your tasks will include day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Rancher-based Kubernetes platform, as well as providing a runtime environment for containerized applications.
Tasks
- Day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Rancher-based Kubernetes platform
- Deployment, configuration, update, and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters
- Providing a runtime environment for containerized applications and supporting vendors
- Ensuring and improving platform availability, stability, and performance
- Error analysis and troubleshooting, incident management, and problem solving
- Operation of Linux-based servers, maintenance, and participation in troubleshooting
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date system documentation

Requirements
- you have at least 3 years of experience operating Kubernetes-based platforms
- you are comfortable in a Linux environment, and Bash, JSON, and YAML are part of your daily toolkit
- you have practical experience with Kubernetes management (e.g., Rancher), networking, and storage solutions
- you are familiar with Prometheus and Grafana-based monitoring tools
- you enjoy exploring complex bugs and focus on problem solving
- you work independently while also creating value in a team by sharing your knowledge
- you pay attention to detail during your work and deliver assigned tasks on time
