Define enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery architecture for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments at Cognizant in Budapest.
Tasks
- Define storage and backup strategy, standards, target architecture, and technology roadmaps.
- Design SAN, NAS, object, software-defined, archival, and cloud storage solutions.
- Design backup and recovery services using platforms such as Veeam, NetBackup, and Azure Recovery Services.
- Develop recovery patterns, RPO/RTO alignment, replication, business continuity, and DR execution approaches.
- Lead data centre migration, storage modernisation, platform consolidation, and lifecycle initiatives.
- Perform capacity planning, performance optimisation, resilience assessment, and cost optimisation.
- Embed encryption, access control, data protection, retention, and GDPR-aligned compliance controls.
- Provide architecture governance, vendor coordination, technical workshops, and operational handover documentation.

- Encryption, data protection and compliance
- Dell EMC or NetApp storage certification (Preferred)
- Veeam or NetBackup certification (Preferred)

- ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
- Strong ownership, analytical troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and documentation discipline
