Aliz is a global solution provider for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) focusing on Europe and Asia. We are building scalable applications, IT infrastructures, Big Data, and machine learning solutions as a certified Google partner. We are looking for an experienced Data Architect colleague in Budapest who will create an amazing experience for our customers as they build and maintain solutions in the Google Cloud.
Tasks
- communicating efficiently with a conflict resolution and stakeholder management focus while representing a holistic approach to project delivery
- tech leadership and mentorship
- being responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle
- presales activities and proof-of-concept delivery
- architecting and creating data pipelines, data platforms, and data warehouses on GCP
- being a trusted GCP technical consultant and trainer for our clients' tech teams
- being part of the clients' engineering team and implementing relevant new practices

Requirements
- want to use your technical leadership skills to guide both our engineers and our clients' engineers on their cloud journey
- thrive in a collaborative environment, where you can take on a lead role to guide the data team in agile practices
- have great communication skills in English
- are a data architect with at least 6 years of hands-on coding experience (Java/Python and SQL)
- have working experience with any major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- are very comfortable with modern cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, or similar), orchestration tools like Airflow, and dbt Core
- have hands-on, up-to-date knowledge in using agentic AI tools to build software solutions
