aHead Photonics Ltd. is a startup founded in 2023 at the University of Technology in Budapest, developing a unique wide field head-up display (HUD) technology for the automotive industry.
Tasks
- Participation in automotive HUD prototype development
- Plan and carry out the integration of the HUD prototype into a test vehicle (mechanical, electrical, and data interfaces)
- Define test strategy and derive executable testing procedures
- Build test setups, from bench to in-vehicle, and write test plans
- Run and analyze tests on optical performance, functionality, and reliability together with our optics, hardware, and software teams
- Track issues, document results, and feed findings back into the design
- Lay the groundwork for future validation against automotive standards

Requirements
- Degree in a related field (physicist/electrical engineer/mechanical engineer/mechatronic engineer/vehicle engineer)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive prototype development or in automotive prototype integration and testing
- English & Hungarian language skills (mandatory)
