We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will support our financial operations by ensuring accurate invoicing, payment allocation and effective management of customer accounts in an international environment.
Tasks
- Maintain customer master data and implement authorized changes
- Prepare and send invoices, including EDI invoices, and maintain the related documentation
- Secure and file bank payment documentation
- Record payments received from customers and keep customer files up to date
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices, initiate necessary actions, and monitor customer accounts internally
- Act as the focal point for Sales regarding the status of customer disputes
- Maintain Order-to-Cash process documentation
- Monitor customer credit limits and provide recommendations when needed
- Complete other tasks related to your area of responsibility as required by your supervisor

Requirements
- A higher education degree, preferably in Finance or Economics
- 1--3 years of experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of financial matters and the ability to approach tasks from a financial perspective
- Good Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and innovative mindset
- Advanced English skills, both written and spoke
- Knowledge of French or Dutch is considered an advantage
