We are looking for a candidate for the position of Financial Controller for our manufacturing partner located in Heves County.
Tasks
- Processing, analysis and verification of controlling data in a BI system, variance analysis (plan-actual-base) and preparation of scorecard tables.
- Preparing management reports to support decision-making in sales, inventory management, marketing, and working capital.
- Participation in the development of BI reports, improvement of the reporting system, and optimization of data provision processes.
- Assisting with annual business planning, preparing plan versions, and coordinating with related departments.
- Performing controlling tasks in SAP, running calculations, analyzing variances, and supporting month-end closing processes.
- Checking manufacturing costs, production orders, and unit cost data, and identifying the causes of variances in cooperation with the production controller.
- Preparing analyses and statistics related to labor costs, and monitoring cost trends.
- Identifying data entry errors and process gaps, determining corrective actions, and initiating necessary measures.
- Post-implementation review of the financial impact of business decisions, evaluation of results, and formulation of efficiency improvement proposals.

Requirements
- Higher education in economics, finance, accounting, or controlling.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant controlling experience.
- Confident SAP knowledge with an understanding of calculation and financial closing processes.
- Experience in using BI systems, along with an orientation towards developing and improving reports.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to independently create pivot tables, functions, and complex data analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset, precision, and a critical approach to data verification.
- An advantage: controlling experience at a manufacturing company, especially in cost accounting, production costs, and variance analysis.
- An advantage: experience in developing Power BI or other business intelligence systems and establishing reporting logic.
- An advantage: practice in internal control or audit tasks.
- An advantage: previous experience in post-auditing business decisions and improving processes based on identified variances.
