Sigma Technology Hungary has over 200 professionals and is growing. We are looking for a Software Unit Manager to lead the growth of our software business and build a diversified and sustainable software unit. We are particularly interested in candidates with proven experience in business development and/or sales within the IT/software industry.
Tasks
- Analyze the existing software business and customer portfolio to identify opportunities for business diversification and growth.
- Develop and execute a software business strategy and growth plan, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding business opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end sales process, from the initial contact to contract negotiation and signing.
- Build and develop the Software Unit by establishing the necessary capabilities, operational structure, and team.
- Take ownership of the unit's financial performance and business results.
- Collaborate closely with delivery and professional leaders to ensure that sold business opportunities are translated into sustainable projects and teams.

Requirements
- Strong strategic thinking and business insight.
- Proven track record in business development and/or sales.
- Solid understanding of the IT and software industry.
- Experience in customer management and building business relationships.
- Experience with financial accountability and business performance management.
- Strong leadership
- High degree of autonomy, initiative and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal business English and Hungarian.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation
- Ability to collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their business applications.
