MVM is looking for an Accounting Expert in Szeged. Tasks include accurate bookkeeping, preparation of reports, participation in audit and NAV tax inspection processes, and cooperation on tax and accounting reconciliations.
Tasks
- In cooperation with the accounting service provider, ensure up-to-date and accurate maintenance of the companies' accounting records and preparation of financial statements in accordance with legal regulations, internal process regulations, and company needs
- Participation in audit processes, NAV tax inspections, and the preparation of MEKH reports by providing necessary data, coordinating reconciliations, and checking outgoing documents
- Participation in the preparation of the companies' accounting analyses, developing proposals to make processes more efficient and establishing new control points
- Participation in professional accounting and tax consultations, external and internal meetings; supporting the resolution of emerging accounting issues and, if necessary, involving external advisors to develop solutions
- Ensuring policies related to the scope of activity are kept up-to-date and current, developing proposals for modifications. Timely implementation of statutory changes and continuous updating of internal policies
- Keeping up-to-date with and applying accounting and tax laws. Developing independent proposals for modifying, improving, and standardizing accounting processes resulting from legislative changes or other business needs

Requirements
- Economics degree (BSc/MSc) and certified accountant qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar field
- User-level knowledge of MS Office
- Independent, precise, and reliable work approach
- Process and systems-oriented mindset, proactive attitude
