Production Area Manager

Tasks

• Ensures on-schedule and compliant production considering costs, quality requirements, and customer needs
• Develops budget, staffing, and investment planning based on the long-term planning of the department
• Initiates and supervises the systematic process of local problem-solving
• Reviews production reports to identify trends, deviations, and disruptions
• Conducts daily walkthroughs in production and takes action in case of deviations
• Plans processes according to Lean Manufacturing principles and ensures their implementation and compliance within the organizational unit
• Leads, inspires, and motivates the employees within the area of responsibility
• Supports customer audits in the designated production area
