As BYD Hungary continues to expand its manufacturing operations, we are strengthening our recruitment capabilities and developing new recruitment channels in Romania. We are looking for an experienced Romanian-speaking Recruitment Specialist who understands the local labor market and can independently drive end-to-end recruitment projects, with a particular focus on large-scale blue-collar recruitment.
Tasks
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for blue-collar positions, from candidate sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer follow-up, and onboarding coordination
- Develop and execute recruitment plans to meet hiring targets, particularly for large-scale operator recruitment
- Monitor recruitment progress, analyze hiring results, and take timely action to improve delivery efficiency
- Identify, develop, and maintain local recruitment channels, including online platforms, employment agencies, labor suppliers, job fairs, and local employment offices
- Build partnerships with local recruitment agencies, vocational schools, universities, and other relevant organizations
- Explore new talent pools and recruitment opportunities across Romania to support BYD Hungary's workforce needs
- Communicate with Romanian candidates in their native language, introduce job opportunities, and maintain effective candidate relationships
- Coordinate candidate interviews, documentation, and travel or arrival arrangements where necessary
- Track recruitment KPIs, candidate pipelines, channel performance, and hiring costs
- Prepare regular recruitment reports and provide market insights to support workforce planning and recruitment decisions
- Work closely with the Hungarian HR team and relevant business departments to align recruitment plans with workforce demand

Requirements
- Fluent Romanian and English are essential
- Hungarian and/or Chinese language skills are a strong advantage
- Proven hands-on experience in recruitment, preferably in blue-collar, manufacturing, automotive, or high-volume recruitment in Romania
- Ability to independently plan, manage, and deliver recruitment projects against hiring targets
- Good understanding of the Romanian labor market, candidate sourcing channels, and local recruitment practices
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to track recruitment data, evaluate channel effectiveness, and identify opportunities to improve recruitment performance
- Proactive, results-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
- Willingness to travel to Romania when required
