Veolia Water Hungary Kft. is a market-leading membrane technology company, designing and manufacturing equipment for drinking water and industrial wastewater treatment for over 20 years. We are looking for a Lead Design Engineer for our plant in Oroszlány.
Tasks
- Redesigning existing manufacturing equipment to meet new R&D experimental objectives
- Designing and commissioning experimental, simplified R&D prototypes, and validating concepts
- Designing experimental and production machinery, supported by component sizing and appropriate material selection
- Preparing and keeping design documentation up to date, managing the EPDM system
- Reviewing colleagues' designs, proposing modifications when necessary, and providing professional support
- Testing and optimizing experimental and production equipment
- Executing and coordinating machine-building projects while adhering to schedules and budgets
- Developing and tracking schedules for machine-building projects and project components
- Providing on-site coordination for machine-building projects
- Planning maintenance requirements for experimental and production machinery, organizing necessary maintenance tasks
- Identifying, evaluating, and managing risks
- Monitoring the manufacturing of experimental and production machinery
- Communicating with stakeholders, clients, and partners
- Preparing reports and summaries; giving presentations and leading design review meetings
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, quality assurance, and occupational health and safety standards
