Sanofi Business Services (SBS) is setting up a new captive Business Services center in Budapest to provide Finance & Accounting services. We are looking for a Closing & Reporting Accountant to join the A2R team.
Tasks
- Deliver GL monthly closing and reporting services to SBS, including reviewing automatic posting interfaces, closing AR & AP sub-ledgers, and closing Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
- Request and collect recurring and non-recurring items, reconcile accounts, and post Manual Journal Entries (MJE)
- Prepare management, tax, legal, and statutory reporting at Group and country levels, and contribute to business reviews
- Execute all processes, transactions, and reports in compliance with Sanofi accounting policies, internal control guidelines, and audit/SOX requirements
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to eliminate redundant activities and support process automation initiatives

Requirements
- 3-5 years in general ledger accounting, financial closing, and reporting
- Hands-on experience with month-end closing, account reconciliations, and manual journal entries
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP and statutory reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Excellent written and verbal English
