As a quality management engineer, you will contribute to the proactive operation of the company's quality management system so that it fully meets our customers' expectations, contribute to their success, and guarantee "best-in-class" product quality.
Tasks
- Ensures the supply of raw materials meeting specifications to production processes by operating preventive incoming goods quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Ensures the uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production processes by operating reactive non-conformance management processes and prevents the recurrence of defects through active cooperation with suppliers.
- As a supportive function, contributes to the objective evaluation of suppliers, supplier development, the continuous improvement of supplier specifications, and the introduction of new or alternative suppliers.
Requirements
- Technical / engineering degree
- At least 3 years of experience in a supplier quality engineering role, or at least 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role
- Confident knowledge of 8D problem-solving and FMEA/RA methodology
- Confident knowledge of root cause analysis methods (IS-ISNOT, Ishikawa, 5Why)
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA, GR&R)
- Active communication skills in English and/or German at at least intermediate level
- User-level computer skills (MS Windows, MS WORD, MS OUTLOOK)
- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables) and MS PowerPoint knowledge
