The plants of Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Kft. in Eger and Maklár, as an automotive supplier, deliver steering gears, steering columns, steering shafts, and remanufactured parts. We are looking for a new colleague as an Application Engineer MES (Manufacturing Execution System) at the Maklár site to handle project-phase tasks and subsequent support processes.
Tasks
- Implementation and configuration of new MES (Nexeed IAS) modules in cooperation with internal IT departments
- Adaptation of the IT system during migration to the target business configuration
- Identification and communication of functional gaps
- Close cooperation with central service providers and shop floor experts
- Execution of system tests
- Providing support for the given process area, liaison regarding Nexeed modules
- Performing data cleansing and maintenance tasks
- Creation of training documents for end-users and documentation of process changes
- Creation, tracking of support tickets and sending notifications about the solution
- Performing tests as part of technical upgrades, migrations, and system changes
- Participation in the CSI cycle program
- Support for the process expert/application owner in the implementation of major projects
- Driving process improvements and detailing requirements
- Participation in MrP Key User audit rounds
- Holding a degree in IT, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Experience in an application engineering or similar role, preferably in industrial automation or the manufacturing sector
- Technical understanding of IT systems (SAP, MES, Windows, Linux, databases)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and intra-logistics basics
- Experience with Nexeed Classic or other MES systems
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to cooperate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
- High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken
- Independent, autonomous, and proactive working style
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and conditions
