Taxually is a B2B SaaS tax-compliance platform operating across 105 jurisdictions and 12 legal entities. We are seeking a mid-level Commercial Finance Manager to own our order-to-cash cycle end to end, govern our AR automation agent, and partner with Sales, Customer Success, and country tax teams. For someone who turns work into systems, the path to Commercial Finance Deputy is 12-18 months.
Tasks
- Own order-to-cash: Accounts receivable and collections end to end, including invoice issue, cash application, ageing, dunning, escalation and resolution.
- Collect with judgment: Prioritise by cash impact and run escalation paths that recover money while protecting the commercial relationship.
- Fix disputes at root cause: Trace recurring billing errors back to the contract, registration or system and get the upstream fix made.
- Govern the automation: Act as business owner of the AR agent and related workflows, define exception rules, and validate outputs.
- Report and forecast: Produce ageing, DSO, collection-effectiveness and cash-collection forecasts and build out the AR analytics layer.
- Close the loop with Controlling: Deliver clean AR and collections records into the monthly close and annual audit.
- Partner commercially: Work day to day with Sales, Customer Success and country tax teams.
- Take on ticketing: Progressively assume ownership of finance ticketing on an agent-first model.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
- Fluent English and Hungarian. Another European language is a plus but not mandatory.
- 3 years of relevant experience in finance, operations or a business-facing role, with a strong understanding of how a business earns, bills and collects its revenue.
- Genuine curiosity about AI agents and workflow automation.
- Advanced Excel.
