As a material planning manager, you play a key role in ensuring the continuous raw material supply of the plant and optimizing inventory levels. You direct and coordinate the work of raw material and packaging material procurement groups, as well as group leaders.

Tasks

  • You supervise and coordinate the work of the raw material and packaging material procurement groups, as well as the group leaders.
  • You continuously monitor and optimize inventory levels based on the corporate inventory policy.
  • You ensure the continuous, high-quality raw material supply for the entire electronics plant and the specified material ranges of the Pécs plant.
  • You manage and coordinate the performance of raw material suppliers serving the plant, and build strong supplier relationships.
  • You continuously monitor and manage the performance of the operational procurement organization, following organizational KPIs.
  • You actively escalate critical materials and suppliers to the logistics manager, Business Unit management, and Procurement.
  • You supervise the management of obsolete inventory and ensure the procurement of single-use and returnable packaging materials.
  • You assume material supply responsibility from a Material Planning perspective and substitute for the logistics manager in material supply matters.
  • You actively cooperate with Global teams.

Requirements

  • Higher education degree in a relevant field (BA/MA)
  • At least 8 years of experience in procurement and supply chain
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Negotiation-level English and Hungarian language skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent decision-making and effective cooperation
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Strong people leader competencies
  • High-level knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems
  • Basic knowledge and application of AI tools
