Veolia helps cities and industries around the world manage, optimize, and make the most of their resources. We are looking for a new colleague for the position of environmental expert to work in Pécs.
Tasks
- monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, corporate regulations, and unified operational permits across the group of companies
- scheduled review of environmental and water permits, as well as other related plans
- professional maintenance and development of the group's internal environmental regulations
- preparation of reports for environmental authorities and the company
- calculation of air emission charges, maintenance of environmental records
- organization and supervision of required environmental measurements
- participation in official inspections and consultations
- supervision of compliance with requirements for the collection and transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste on-site
- up-to-date maintenance of waste records, handling of waste removal administration
- implementation and record-keeping of documents related to the group's integrated management system (IMS)
- performing tasks as an internal auditor for EMS, OHSMS, and QMS according to the internal audit plan, participating in the preparation and execution of IMS audits within the respective fields
