Tech People is a European provider of technical skills permanent recruitment and temporary contracting services for multiple industries. Currently we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in Keszthely.
Tasks
- Handling enquiries from Hungarian and international customers, accurately identifying spare parts and accessories, and recommending suitable products and alternatives.
- Preparing quotations, entering and confirming orders, and monitoring the entire order fulfilment process.
- Maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new customers, and promoting related products and accessories.
- Liaising with international manufacturers and suppliers, requesting quotations, placing orders, and coordinating procurement processes.
- Monitoring spare parts inventory, optimising stock levels, and cooperating with the warehouse team.
- Supporting the service department with parts identification, procurement, and handling urgent requests.
- Coordinating complaints, returns, and warranty claims.
- Entering and maintaining data in the ERP/sales system, managing product master data and price lists, and preparing reports.
Requirements
- Higher education in a technical field (e.g. engineering or technical management) or a technical qualification.
- 1--3 years of experience in a similar field is an advantage, particularly in the sales of spare parts and accessories for cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, forestry equipment, or construction machinery.
- Active command of English, both written and spoken.
- Basic computer skills.
