EN-CO Software is looking for a new Business Analyst to work in Budapest. Your tasks will include eliciting business needs, managing the backlog, and collaborating with the development team.
Tasks
- Defining and representing the business goals, value proposition, and expected outcomes of the solution/product
- Aligning client and stakeholder needs, preparing business decisions, and managing priorities
- Business ownership, prioritization, and preparation of the product and project backlog
- Business acceptance of development outcomes and ensuring objectives are met
- Collaborating with the project manager, Tech Lead, UX, and Delivery Team in shaping the solution
- Eliciting business needs, processes, rules, and expectations through workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Translating business needs into backlog items, user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria, and preparing necessary process models and analyses
- Ensuring consistency and traceability between business needs, the planned solution, and the delivered result
- Early identification of business risks, dependencies, and open questions, and contributing to the development of BA/PO best practices

Requirements
- At least 5 years of PO, BA, or combined PO/BA experience in a software development environment
- Product-oriented mindset, ability to translate business needs into clear goals and priorities
- Confident management and maintenance of an up-to-date backlog
- Precise documentation and reliable administration
- Effective liaison between the client, business, and technical stakeholders
- Independent, proactive work style and the ability to drive decisions forward even in uncertain situations
- Confident English proficiency required for active professional discussions
