We are looking for a Supplier Development Specialist to join the team of our manufacturing partner with a wide product portfolio in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, who speaks English or German with confidence, has a technical background, and is familiar with the fields of quality management and procurement.
Tasks
- Qualification and selection of new suppliers
- Evaluation and development of supplier performance
- Liaison with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency issues
- Handling and tracking of complaints
- Management of procurement-related damage claims
- Continuous monitoring of supplier performance and development of improvement proposals
- Preparation and execution of supplier audits
- Participation in procurement audits and preliminary preparation processes
- Analysis of procurement processes and development of proposals to increase efficiency
- Support of quality assurance processes, development of corrective measures
- Cooperation with related departments, especially with the supplier quality engineer

Requirements
- Higher education (preferably technical degree)
- Min. 3 years of experience in procurement
- Supplier development experience
- Negotiation-level communication skills in German or English with international clients
- Willingness to travel
- Assertive approach, good negotiation skills
- Resourceful, capable of working independently
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills
