The stable state company MVM is looking for a technical procurement specialist to work in Budapest. Tasks of the position include preparing technical specifications, supplier negotiations, and maintaining contact between technology and procurement areas.
Tasks
- Supporting requesting departments in defining appropriate technical solutions and alternatives
- Receiving and checking procurement requests from various areas of the organization, centralized request management
- Maintaining contact between technical requesting areas, technology and procurement organizations
- Conducting technical negotiations with suppliers
- Exploring market trends and innovation opportunities, consultation with the technology area
- Coordinating technical issues arising during the procurement process
- Preparing reports, statements, and management decision materials

Requirements
- Higher technical education (BSc/MSc)
- Experience in technical preparation, project preparation or technical support
- Min. 3-4 years of relevant engineering and/or procurement/public procurement experience (direct procurement)
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Category B driving license
- Strategic thinking
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Systems thinking, precise work
