Tasks
- Generate excitement and passion for learning in students and the wider school community;
- Inspire trust and confidence in students, colleagues and parents;
- Engage and motivate students to strive for the highest achievement;
- Continually strive to develop the quality of students' learning across the curriculum;
- Contribute to curriculum development, pedagogical improvement and wider school improvement priorities;
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography and the ability to teach across the Secondary age range;
- Experience of teaching Geography at IGCSE/GCSE and/or IB level;
- Experience of planning and leading geographical fieldwork.
Requirements
- Qualified to bachelor's degree level or above.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Compliance with visa requirements for working in Hungary.
- Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent for countries lived in outside of the UK.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
- Proven track record with at least two years' teaching experience.
- Experience of the National Curriculum for England, and delivering IGCSE, GCSE or IB qualifications.
