delaware is an international consultancy company, which means you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and products across different industries and technologies. As an SAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within SAP environments using SAP BTP, ABAP, RAP, and Fiori technologies. For Senior and Lead-level positions, the role also includes additional responsibilities such as solution architecture, code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring less experienced developers.
Tasks
- Design and develop custom applications using ABAP and RAP frameworks
- Build and enhance Fiori apps for intuitive user experiences
- Implement OData services and integrate with SAP UI5 applications
- Ensure seamless integration of custom developments with SAP S/4HANA and other modules
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize code for performance and maintainability
- Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing
- Maintain proper documentation for developments and technical specifications
- Review code and enforce development standards (Senior/Lead level)
- Mentor junior developers and guide technical design decisions (Senior/Lead level)
- Contribute to solution architecture and strategic development planning (Senior/Lead level)

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP application development or 5+ yrs experience as Full-Stack Engineer
- Experience with ABAP Cloud and RAP and/or SAP CAP
- Experience developing SAP Fiori / Fiori Elements / UI5 applications
- Experience working with OData and REST APIs
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA development and integration
- Knowledge of modern SAP development principles, debugging, performance optimization, and clean code practices
