ContiTech is seeking a Head of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Facility Management to manage and coordinate the manufacturing engineering and facility management functions of the plant, ensure performance targets are met, control investments, and implement continuous improvement activities.
Tasks
- manage and coordinate the manufacturing engineering function of the plant/operations unit
- translate plant/operations unit's manufacturing engineering strategy into action plans and ensure implementation
- contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit
- ensure the achievement of manufacturing engineering targets according to internal and external customer expectations
- initiate and control investments for production equipment and manufacturing engineering equipment
- initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures
- manage and coordinate all facility management activities for the plant
- prepare, review and manage the budget and forecast of manufacturing engineering cost centers
- prepare, review and manage the budget and forecast of facility management cost centers
- ensure the availability of qualified employees for the manufacturing engineering and the facility management function in cooperation with plant HR
