Procurement Specialist

Tasks

• Analysis of customer forecasts and calls-offs
• Ordering raw materials required for production based on customer demands and issuing orders to suppliers via the ERP system
• Tracking and enforcing delivery quantities and deadlines, arranging extra shipments if necessary
• Daily communication with suppliers
• Organizing and tracking deliveries, liaison with freight forwarders, documentation in the tracking system
• Continuous monitoring of (warehouse) inventory
• Optimization of raw material inventory
• Maintenance of master material data
• Handling of logistics complaints
• Conducting internal audits, participation in audits

Conditions & benefits

Requirements

• Higher education degree
• 3 years of relevant professional experience (preferably gained at a manufacturing company), of which at least 1-2 years in procurement
• Confident command of English, both written and spoken
• Advanced computer skills
• Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
