We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer for the American and Hungarian team of a financial technology company. This development team works with large volumes of trading data and develops reports that help filter out fraud and market abuse related to trading activities.
Tasks
- As the first dedicated tester, you will assess current operations and establish structured testing processes for the team.
- Designing and implementing a test automation framework and test strategy.
- Developing and maintaining automated tests in a Python environment.
- Establishing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing solutions.
- Developing data quality and system reliability checks for systems handling large volumes of data.
- Ownership of the testing methodology, its long-term management and further development.
- Close collaboration with developers, data scientists, compliance experts, and tech leaders.
- Presenting development and quality assurance proposals to business and tech stakeholders.
- Supporting the development of new and existing reports based on business needs.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant test automation experience
- Confident Python knowledge
- Experience in using and building test frameworks
- Developer mindset, clean coding approach
- Good algorithmic and systemic thinking
- Experience in making previous technological decisions
- Ownership mindset needed for independent work
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
