IT Business Analyst & Power BI / Fabric Developer -- Finance Reporting & Analytics is responsible for end-to-end ownership of reporting and analytics solutions within assigned finance domains. The role combines business analysis and technical delivery responsibilities, working directly with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements, design data models, build proof-of-concepts, and develop production-grade reporting solutions.
Tasks
- Act as primary IT partner for designated Finance reporting domains.
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders on topics including P&L reporting, balance sheet reporting, cost controlling, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, and operational finance reporting.
- Gather, analyze, document, and challenge business requirements.
- Own reports, dashboards, KPIs, datasets, and analytics products throughout their lifecycle.
- Identify source systems and data owners; analyze data structures and define integration requirements.
- Design scalable reporting solutions aligned with architectural standards and governance requirements.
- Develop semantic models, business calculations, KPIs, and reusable datasets.
- Build ETL/ELT components, Fabric artifacts, Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
- Rapidly develop prototypes and MVPs to validate business value.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, user acceptance testing, and production readiness.
- Maintain business requirements, solution documentation, data mappings, KPI definitions, and operating procedures.
- Manage enhancements, change requests, and report optimization activities.

Requirements
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in BI, analytics, finance systems, or business analysis roles.
- Strong experience combining business analysis and solution development responsibilities.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Data modelling.
- Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes with experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, D365 Finance & Operations, or equivalent ERP solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with finance business users and technical teams.
- Experience managing reporting products end-to-end.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent English communication skills.
