Located in the heart of the city at Andrassy Avenue, W Budapest features 151 stylish guest rooms, a destination restaurant and bar, and signature W Lounge. We are looking for a dedicated Chef de Partie to prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
Tasks
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and inform Chef of excess food items
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock items
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
- Prepare cold foods
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees
