Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline focused on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities take into account both the business and technical needs of customers in order to deliver a quality product that meets user needs.
Tasks
- Examines and understands applicable standards required by the country's law that apply to the products in question.
- Communicates and maintains standards with designers.
- Participates with independent third parties to perform product compliance and certification work.
- Interacts with external engineering firms or government agencies to provide or record product compliance.
Requirements
- Knowledge equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited university (or a Bachelor's degree with experience in a relevant field).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
