Technical Account Manager

Tasks

• Full management of smaller clients and development of the client base in an industrial environment in Germany and Austria (Inside Sales)
• Handling quotations, requests for proposals, and orders
• Selecting, sizing, and configuring the appropriate product based on customer needs
• Searching for new business opportunities, including cold calling and email outreach
• Maintaining contact with clients and external sales representatives
• Cooperating with engineering, product management, marketing, business development, and production
• Providing technical support and product information to clients
• Handling customer complaints and claims
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and supporting process improvements
• Monitoring market, technological, and competitor changes, and continuously developing product and professional knowledge

Requirements

• Higher education (preferably technical)
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (Inside Sales, Sales Engineer, Sales Support Engineer, Technical Sales, Vertriebsinnendienst, Technischer Vertriebsmitarbeiter)
• Fluent German and communicative English language skills
• Confident MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Precision and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, good time management, and effective multitasking
