Production Planner (MES Key user)

Tasks

• As the primary contact person (key user / system administrator), you support production colleagues in using the MES software and utilizing the system efficiently.
• You quickly and efficiently handle functional and basic IT incidents and operational issues related to MES (occasionally performing basic IT tasks such as PC replacement/installation or cable connection).
• You cooperate with production and shop floor teams to assess business needs and identify opportunities for process, system, and workflow improvement.
• You work closely with production and planning to assess needs, formulate them into tasks, and pass them on to the development team, ensuring continuous feedback.
• You provide support in the TDM system: software installation (from the catalog), user account management, and assistance to the relevant colleagues.
• You contribute to stable production operations through continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, development of sustainable solutions, and support for access to production tools and applications.
• Participation in MES-related projects, testing, implementations, and global digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or production support positions.
• Negotiation-level (fluent) English.
• German language skills are an advantage.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) is explicitly advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP and related business processes is an advantage.
• An IT degree or previous experience in IT, digitalization, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
