Morgan Stanley's Corporate Treasury team in Budapest is hiring a Legal & Regulatory Compliance (Senior) Associate to support the Firm's Recovery and Resolution Planning program across jurisdictions. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in compliance, regulatory affairs, governance, or legal analysis who want to move beyond pure advisory work and into a role focused on regulatory execution, documentation quality, and senior-level governance.
Tasks
- Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, practical documentation in close cooperation with functional teams
- Drive regulatory submissions and governance materials related to Recovery & Resolution Planning
- Collaborate with and influence global stakeholders across EMEA and the US
- Maintain and enhance frameworks, policies, controls, and remediation actions
- Drive and manage projects in response to regulatory changes
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, identify and mitigate risks proactively

Requirements
- Experience in finance, compliance, regulatory, risk & controls, or legal roles
- Strong background in stakeholder management, policy interpretation, governance documentation, or regulatory analysis
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-border environment
- Typically, 3 years of relevant experience; financial services experience preferred
