In this role, you will take ownership of global sourcing, supplier management and procurement operations, leading the development of the procurement function at the Hungarian manufacturing site. You will lead and expand a team, combining strategic sourcing with hands-on operational leadership.
Tasks
- Lead and develop the procurement team in Hungary, supporting its expansion and the transition of procurement responsibilities to the manufacturing site.
- Drive global sourcing strategies, supplier selection, contract negotiations and strategic supplier relationships across Europe, Asia and other international markets.
- Ensure procurement performance against production material plans, focusing on supplier on-time delivery, cost reduction and quality.
- Establish and optimize procurement processes, including daily and weekly operational routines, performance KPIs and forward-looking material availability monitoring.
- Introduce data-driven tools, dashboards, BI and AI-based solutions to improve procurement visibility, decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Partner with production, materials and planning teams to anticipate supply risks, resolve shortages and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Lead supplier performance improvement, cost optimisation and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives, working closely with international stakeholders and suppliers.
