We are looking for a Production Manager to organize and supervise daily production activities, lead production operators, support line installation and process execution, and drive continuous improvement.
Tasks
- Organize and supervise daily production activities to ensure achievement of production targets in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Lead production operators and team leaders, including shift arrangement, work allocation, attendance management, training, performance monitoring, and shop-floor discipline.
- Support production line installation, commissioning, trial production, SOP ramp-up, and capacity improvement, ensuring standardized processes and stable production output.
- Ensure compliance with work instructions, control plans, quality standards, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and IATF 16949 requirements; drive problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with Production Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve production issues, minimize downtime, and ensure on-time customer delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of production or manufacturing experience, preferably including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership position.
- Experience in automotive or automotive-component manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, KPI management, root-cause analysis, problem-solving tools, OEE, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good command of English is required; Hungarian language skills are highly preferred.
