We are looking for an experienced backup solutions architect and presales colleague to join our team dealing with enterprise IT infrastructure solutions. We are waiting for a professional who, as a technical expert and consultant, will support our sales and customer acquisition processes, and provide professional guidance for planning backup and recovery projects and preparing for their implementation.
Tasks
- Professional support for sales colleagues in identifying new business opportunities and throughout the technical stages of the sales process.
- Assessment of customer needs, existing backup environments, workloads to be protected, recovery expectations, and risks.
- Leading technical workshops, consultations, presentations, and solution demos for clients.
- Designing Commvault Cloud-based data protection, backup, archiving, and recovery architectures for hybrid, cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Preparation of high-level solution concepts, capacity and licensing inputs, technical proposals, and specifications.
- Comparison and professional positioning of Commvault Cloud alongside Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam, and other relevant solutions.
- Compilation, review, and presentation of the technical content of proposals, bids, and tenders.
- Architect-level support for backup projects, professional preparation of implementation, agreeing on target architecture, migration approach, and handover points with the implementation team.
- Expert involvement in more complex implementation, migration, recovery, or escalation situations when necessary.
- Continuous professional communication with vendor and distributor experts, as well as participation in joint customer and business development activities.
- Tracking the development of technology roadmaps, licensing models, and backup and recovery technologies; acquiring and maintaining the necessary training and certifications.
- Internal knowledge sharing, professional support for sales and technical colleagues.
