For our partner — a German-owned electronics manufacturer with a stable, established company employing over 1000 people, operating in Southeast Pest county (near Kecskemét) — we are looking for a Buyer. In this position, you will work as part of a 12-member global team and a 4-member local team.
Tasks
- Optimization of the technical design of products to reduce costs, increase standardization, and achieve more efficient procurement.
- Preparation of technical and cost analyses to identify and realize savings opportunities.
- Analysis of global supplier markets, sourcing and selection of new suppliers, and supplier development, with a special focus on innovation opportunities.
- Collaboration with suppliers in the development and optimization of materials, components, and technical solutions.
- Participation in continuous improvement projects, in close cooperation with specialists from R&D, quality, logistics, marketing, and other related fields.

Requirements
- Higher engineering degree. (Any engineering degree is accepted)
- 1 year of professional experience in an engineering position related to procurement or manufacturing processes.
- Strong intermediate English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience in the tasks listed above is not a requirement; willingness to learn, openness, and motivation for development are more important.
