Tasks
- Develop and maintain backend RESTful web services based on established API contracts
- Optimize and parallelize accounting calculations using Apache Spark
- Manage data-processing batches, focusing on performance, reliability, and stability
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production rollout
- Contribute to DevOps automation and continuous deployment initiatives
- Work with relational databases and Big Data technologies
- Troubleshoot application issues and support reliable production operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple international locations

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, preferably with Spring
- Experience with Scala or equivalent programming languages
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, or DB2
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and MongoDB
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and modern software development practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within an international team
