Our partner, one of Hungary's leading international energy corporate groups, is looking for a Medior Database System Specialist for their digital technology and development team for an exciting, data-driven transformation project.
Tasks
- Installation, configuration, and operation of the Databricks platform and related data processing systems.
- Creation of workspaces, configuration of cloud resources, and management of user permissions.
- Monitoring and optimization of platform performance, resource utilization, and scalability.
- Ensuring data security and integrity.
- Investigation of technical issues, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management.
- Execution of data recovery and restoration tasks.
- Collaboration with the Data Engineering team to support data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows.
- Creation and maintenance of automation solutions and technical documentation.

Requirements
- Higher education in IT, engineering, or a related field!
- At least 3 years of experience in Databricks platform production support or operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in an AWS or Azure PaaS environment.
- At least 2 years of experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform.
- Knowledge of database architectures and data modeling.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Azure Databricks, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse and Windows Server operating systems.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
- Python and Bash scripting experience.
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Fluent English language skills.
